Premier Cares Award
The Premier Cares Award spotlights innovative programs that help the medically underserved and focuses attention on the need to support and replicate such efforts. It also underscores the values that represent the core beliefs of Premier owner healthcare systems.

APHA Public Health Fellowship
The American Public Health Association is looking for candidates with strong public health credentials to spend one year in Washington, D.C. working in a congressional office on legislative and policy issues related to health, the environment or other critical public health issues. AHRQ Chartered Value Exchanges
Beginning in the summer of 2008, the AHRQ Chartered Value Exchanges will provide participants with performance information from Medicare regarding how well physicians treat patients. Performance data can be combined with similar private-sector data and other public data to produce a comprehensive consumer guide on the quality of care available.

Value Driven Healthcare
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Consumers has launched an effort to establish a values-driven healthcare system in the United States. This campaign calls for greater transparency in health care to provide consumers with the information and incentive to choose health care providers based on quality and value.

Healthcare Innovations Exchange
The Health Care Innovations Exchange is an AHRQ program which provides real examples of innovations in health care delivery. This site presents innovative strategies and quality-related tools that allow organization adopt new ideas and interact with innovators and adopters.

Oxford Health Alliance "Fit City Competition"
The Fit City competition , sponsored by the Oxford Health Alliance, was an international competition to provoke thoughtful discussion among young people (ages 18-27) about the impact of urban environments on our health. In 2007, five winners received trips to Sydney, Australia to showcase their submissions at the annual global Oxford Alliance Summit.
